How do I maintain my silver membership status?
Once you’re a Silver member, you’ll remain in that tier provided you earn the minimum number of Tier Points for that tier within our Upgraded Fixed Membership Period (that’s 400 Tier Points to stay Silver). This period is calculated from one day after the date on which you obtained Silver and continues for a further 12 months.
After each 12-month membership period, your Tier Points will reset to 0. If you don’t earn enough Tier Points to retain your Silver membership, you’ll automatically revert to a Red member. You can find out the date your tier will expire in your Virgin Flying Club account.
You can earn Tier Points when you fly with Virgin Atlantic, one of our partner airlines or with Virgin Atlantic Holidays. You earn Tier Points on Rewards flights too.
400 Tier Points could be:
1 flexible Upper Class return flight
Or 2 flexible Premium return flights
Or 4 Economy Delight return flights

How do I get to Gold membership status?
To upgrade from Silver to Gold membership status, you will need to earn 1 000 Tier points. Your upgraded status will be applied on the date the qualifying Tier points reach your account.
